McKenzie Lockhart and her pals have organized a week-long food drive starting NOV. 9th to benefit the Shoals Dream Center. There are 3 drop off locations in Florence and one in Muscle Shoals.

SNAP benefits will not be distributed for the month of November so on top of an already difficult economic time, many families who rely on these benefits will have yet another stressor to consider. I’ve seen our community rally for one another over and over again and we need it urgently at this moment.

We’ve been keen to help out in some way and a big thank you to everyone involved including / .native and Mayer Electric Supply. Thanks you for everything you do!

We’re celebrating 2 years in the Shoals! We’ve hosted 21 shows and booked 50 artists for our shows here in the Shoals. We’ve also hosted takeovers featuring Shoals-based artists and we’ve posted 104 of our weekly live music listings which feature every show in the Shoals.

Despite being newcomers here, we’re aiming to do our bit to support the live music scene and we’ve also been able to publish six articles in Rhythms Magazine that feature the artists, events, and recording studios in the Shoals.

Before moving to the Shoals from Sydney, we hosted songwriter nights and band shows and in total, we’ve booked just over 100 artists and hosted 78 events since 2020. Now that we’re established here in the Shoals, we’re proud to say that we make sure artists are paid industry rates or above at our events.

We’re excited about our plans for more shows in coming months and here’s a list of the artists we’ve featured at our songwriter sessions, takeovers and band shows:
