One 20-second video. One item. 3 million organic views. I've created hundreds of viral food videos for local restaurants around the nation and here are 3 TIPS I used for all of them 🍔 🎥 👇

1: Shoot on your phone. Feels real, feels trustable, and for local restaurants, it just works.
2: Keep it short. One item. 15-20 seconds. A hook that buys you 3-5 more seconds. That's it.
3: Fix your colors. Bump the exposure, add a little saturation, finish with contrast. Make it look as good as it tastes.

Stop Chasing Motivation. Build a System Instead.

I used to think I needed to be motivated to do anything. Motivated to hit the gym. Motivated to post. Motivated to show up.

That's not how it works.

James Clear said it best in Atomic Habits: "You don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems." And coming from somebody who's spent most of his life trying to break OUT of systems… that caused some tension in me.

I shifted from chasing motivation → to chasing momentum → and now I just build systems. Because systems give you consistency when motivation is nowhere to be found. And consistency is what actually moves the needle.

If you're waiting to feel ready, you're gonna be waiting a long time. Build the system. The motivation follows.

This blooper video got over 120,000 views.

I originally posted it just to be personable, authentic, and relatable… all the social media things, right? But I didn’t expect it to take off like that.

It just proves something I’ve been seeing over and over again — people aren’t looking for overly curated, overly edited, overly planned content.

They’re looking for real.

This was shot on my phone in about 20 minutes in the kitchen and another 20 minutes in the car. Meanwhile, the actual Cajun seafood alfredo video hit over 350,000 views… from a small spot in Sheffield, Alabama.

Another big takeaway: post on everything.

This blooper has around 85,000 views on Facebook, but only a few thousand on YouTube. Other videos flip the opposite way. You never know which platform is going to push your content.

So you might as well spend the extra 5–10 minutes and post everywhere.

All that to say go high volume, stay consistent, keep getting better, and keep showing up.
