Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things…”
There are days when you feel strong and confident, like you can handle anything that comes your way. But then there are days when even the smallest things feel overwhelming. Days when you doubt yourself, when you feel like you’re not capable, not strong enough, not ready.
We all have those moments.
And in those moments, it’s easy to believe the lie that you can’t do it. That you’re not enough. That you should just give up before you even try.
But this verse shifts that perspective completely:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Notice what it doesn’t say. It doesn’t say you can do everything on your own. It doesn’t say you’ll never feel weak or uncertain.
It says your strength doesn’t come from you alone.
There is a source of strength beyond your own limits. A strength that shows up when you feel like you have nothing left. A strength that carries you through moments you thought you wouldn’t survive.
You’ve already made it through things you once thought would break you. Think about that. At one point, you didn’t know how you were going to get through—and yet, here you are.
That wasn’t just your strength.
So whatever you’re facing right now—whether it’s a challenge, a decision, or a season that feels too heavy—remember this: you don’t have to rely only on yourself.
Strength isn’t about never feeling weak.
It’s about not staying down when you do.
And even if you don’t feel strong today, that doesn’t mean you aren’t being strengthened.
