But not everyone. Just the usual suspects.

You know the type. Purple hair. Rage-bangs. Bio full of every pronoun known to man plus a trigger warning. Mad because somehow "great jeans" is now code for white supremacy?

Nah. You’re not mad because it’s racist. You’re mad because it wasn’t you. And let’s be real, even if it was, nobody's buying jeans from someone who looks like they scream at baristas and hasn’t seen the inside of a gym since Tumblr was a thing.

Sydney isn’t a N**i. She’s just hot. You’re not oppressed. You’re just terminally online, allergic to reality, and constantly looking for reasons to be offended that make you feel relevant.

Just dropped: my latest article on Veteran Lifestyle

Here’s the skinny: ESPN is closing in on a massive deal—around $2 billion—to acquire NFL Network and RedZone, along with several regular-season games currently airing on NFL Media . The league may even take a 10% stake in ESPN, deepening that relationship further.

What’s at stake:

• RedZone, beloved for its seven hours of commercial‑free nonstop action, is reportedly now carrying ads—even before any deal is sealed.

• Fans are furious. Many warn they’ll cancel if RedZone gets ruined by commercials or folded into a pricier streaming package.

• ESPN’s new streaming service launches this fall at roughly $29.99/month, which could include RedZone and NFL Network—and, potentially, the games too.

• The whole thing may take nine months to finalize—even if owners vote on it next month.

From the moment you showed up, life got louder, funnier, more complicated, and a hell of a lot better. You were my first lesson in patience, pride, and what it means to care so deeply it physically hurts.

You’ve always done things your way — which, let’s be honest, is the only way you were ever gonna do them. You’ve got your own rhythm, your own fire, and a soul that doesn’t just hear music… it feels it.

Maybe that’s what I love most about watching you grow up. You don’t fake it. You don’t water yourself down to make other people comfortable. You’ve got this rare blend of talent, empathy, and attitude that makes the world take notice — and I’ll never stop being in awe of it.

Thank you for being my girl. For challenging me. For surprising me. For making sure the soundtrack of my life includes a whole lot of you.

Time Magazine just dropped their “100 Best Podcasts of All Time”… and apparently forgot actual podcast listeners exist.

Let me get this straight — no Joe Rogan? No Pardon My Take? No Crime Ju**ie? No Pat McAfee Show?
But hey, at least they squeezed in 17 different versions of NPR, 12 therapy podcasts about your inner child’s relationship with capitalism, and a spoken word poetry series on composting.

It’s giving… elite cocktail party vibes where everyone pretends Serial is still edgy and no one admits they listen to real stuff.

If your “Best Of All Time” list forgets the most streamed shows on earth, maybe it’s just a list of “Podcasts That Make Our Editors Feel Smart.”

Hard pass. I’ll stick with the ones that don’t require a decoder ring and a wine spritzer.

None of it was built for you.

You waste so much damn time worrying about what they have that you forget what you’re capable of building for yourself.

Let people talk. Let ’em judge. Let ’em roll their eyes at you while they scroll mindlessly through a life they’re too scared to actually live.

You weren’t born to be liked by everyone.
You were born to be you.

Loud, honest, bold, messy, kind, relentless… whatever that looks like.
Say what you wanna say. Do what lights you up. Wear the outfit. Take the risk. Build the thing.

The people who get it will show up. The rest were never your people anyway.

Stop performing. Start living.

1st full day at our new house in Argyle and we are feeling blessed and exhausted!

Moving in this humidity is no joke!

I have to give a huge shout-out to the moving company we hired, Team Lift.

They showed up on time, were fast and efficient, and made sure all of our belongings were protected! And not only that, but being that they are a newer company, they were so appreciative that we chose them to help us with our move!

I mean, they wanted a picture with us to celebrate that we chose to use their services over other companies.

They are so new that they don’t even have any social presence. I found them on the Thumbtack App after our previous movers cancelled on us at the last minute.

They are a growing company In the DFW area so If you are a realtor or looking for help In your next move, I highly recommend TeamLift Moving!

Let’s get real:

You’re not healthy.
You’re just comfortable… like I was.

I told myself I was “fine” too.
Said I didn’t have time.
Said I’d start Monday.
Said I was just “getting older.”
Meanwhile—I was out of shape, exhausted, and bullsh*tting myself.

I had every excuse in the book:
Busy schedule.
Injuries.
Family stuff.
Hell, I even blamed the damn Texas heat.

Truth?
I was soft.
Not physically—I still “looked strong.”
But mentally? I was playing small and calling it normal.

Comfort was killing me quietly.

It wasn’t until my dad passed that I finally stopped lying to myself.
Health isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about being here—for your people, for your purpose, for your f*cking life.

So if you’re reading this and feeling called out… good.
I needed someone to do that for me too.

And I’m not here to judge you—I’m here to pull you out of the same trap I was in.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to stop pretending “comfortable” is working.
