Montgomery Studies with the L.M. Montgomery Institute of UPEI. We discuss the cinematic legacy of Anne of Green Gables and the tourism of Prince Edward Island resulting from the many film, TV and stage adaptations since the novel’s publication in 1908, including the 1985 mini series starring Megan Follows, the Netflix adaptation Anne with an E, and the anime adaptation Anne Shirley.
