Getting closer to God doesn’t make life easier; it makes you stronger and weaker all at the same time. Stronger in your faith, but weaker in your flesh. The closer you get to Him, the more you realize how much you actually need Him.
We expect life to get lighter when we walk with God, but sometimes it gets heavier. Not because He’s punishing us, but because He’s preparing us. He’s stripping away our dependence on people, pride, and self, and teaching us to depend fully on Him.
God owes us nothing, yet He still gives us peace, grace, and strength to endure. And that’s more than enough. ❤️
