AWS District 5 Annual Meeting – Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

This week, the South Florida Section had the privilege of hosting the AWS District 5 Annual Meeting here in Puerto Rico.

Representatives from sections across the district came together to share ideas, discuss what’s working, what challenges we’re facing, and how we can continue growing and strengthening our sections.

But meetings like these are about more than agendas and reports. They're about building relationships, learning from each other, and creating connections that last long after the meeting is over.

You have to make time for a little fun along the way. Some of the best ideas, conversations, and friendships happen outside the meeting room.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip and helped make this year's District 5 meeting a success. Looking forward to what we accomplish together in the year ahead.

The section, and I want to personally invite all of you to our upcoming AWS section meeting in Puerto Rico!

Join us on Friday, June 12th at 6:30 PM at in Bayamón for an evening focused on the welding industry, networking, education, and bringing the welding community together.

This meeting is completely open to the public, so whether you’re a student, welder, fabricator, educator, distributor, manufacturer, or just someone interested in the trade, you are more than welcome to attend.

Puerto Rico is an important part of the AWS South Florida Section, and we’re continuing to grow and strengthen the welding community on the island. Events like this are all about connecting people, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities within our industry.

We’ll be talking welding, oxy-fuel equipment, industry trends, AWS opportunities, and much more. But most importantly, it’s about getting good people together that are passionate about this trade.

So mark your calendars: Friday, June 12th 6:30 PM Automeca — Bayamón, Puerto Rico
