Today, I celebrate your 17th Heavenly Birthday.

This picture is from the day you came into my life.

May 11, 2010.
You were already 11 months old.

You arrived a little shaken...
A little unsure of your new surroundings...

But you were home.

Neither of us knew then just how extraordinary your journey would become or how deeply you would change my life and the lives of so many.

The life of my Tokyo truly was one for the books—filled with adventures, unconditional love, beach sunrises, soccer balls, worldwide travels, and memories that will live in my heart forever.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to the BEST doggie EVER! 🐾❤️

Your paw prints may no longer grace the sand, but your legacy will continue to leave footprints on hearts for generations to come.

What started as the story of a little Yorkie named Tokyo became something much bigger—a story for children who have ever wondered where they come from, missed their daddy, questioned their identity, or longed for answers.

As Tokyo travels the world with his mommy, Dr. Torri J., he begins asking the same questions many children carry quietly in their hearts. With courage, hope, and determination, Tokyo sets out on a journey to find his daddy—and along the way discovers the power of love, identity, healing, and belonging.

Tokyo would look up at me with those big eyes, his little Pawtron toy sitting at my feet, just waiting for me to throw it one more time. 🐾💛

It’s amazing how something so simple can become one of the memories your heart holds onto forever.

As we continue preparing for the release of "Tokyo Finds His Daddy", I keep thinking about the joy Tokyo carried, the love he gave so freely, and the way his little life continues to tell a much bigger story about identity, love, healing, and connection.

Sometimes the smallest companions leave the biggest paw prints on our hearts. 🌎✨

Tokyo never cared about trophies, stadiums, or crowds.

Give him his favorite ball, his favorite beach, and room to run… and he was the happiest little soul in the world. ⚽🐾🌊

So with the FIFA World Cup coming to the United States, we’re going to honor Tokyo the only way he would understand...

By showing them some handles on the beach he loved most.

Every kick of the ball will carry a memory.
Every wave will whisper his name.
Every sunrise will remind us that joy still lives here.

It was peace.
It was healing.

It was where I watched the sun rise after long nights and quietly reminded my mommy that even endings still make room for new beginnings.

So if you ever think of me, don’t remember my final breath.
Remember me running free with the wind in my fur, watching the sunrise over the ocean I loved so much.
