The hardest part of parenting isn’t the sleepless nights, the tantrums, the messes, or the endless laundry.
It’s realizing you can’t keep this version of them forever.
One day, they’ll stop reaching for your hand. They’ll outgrow their favorite stuffed animal. They’ll no longer ask to be carried when they’re tired. The little voice that calls “Mommy!” from across the room will change, and the routines that feel so ordinary today will become memories you’ll wish you could relive just one more time.
They’re growing right before my eyes, and while I’m so proud of who they’re becoming, there’s a part of my heart that wishes I could freeze time just for a little while longer.
So today, I’m choosing to soak it all in. The laughter. The noise. The cuddles. Even the chaos.
Because one day, these will be the days I look back on and miss the most. 🤍
Hold them close, mama. The days may feel long, but the years truly are short.
