I took a photo this morning that I almost deleted immediately. Actually, I wanted to delete it.

It’s the "before" that no one wants to see. The one where I can see the fatigue in my own eyes and feel the weight of all the "I'll start Monday" promises I’ve broken to myself.

Between years of navigating insulin resistance, and now hitting the wall of perimenopause, my body has felt hijacked.

Insulin resistance isn’t just a buzzword for me. It’s the reason I feel like I’m walking through the mud every single afternoon. It’s the reason I hit a wall at 2 PM, yet find myself staring at the ceiling, wide awake at 3 AM every single morning.

I’ve realized that the "old way" of doing things… The constant hustle of being the wife, the mom, the entrepreneur, and being back in school, has really left me at the bottom of my own priority list. I’m tired of performing for the needs of everybody else but mine.

I’m ready to start choosing wiser.
• Being more intentional with my time.
• Trading scrolls for pages.
• Fueling my body (cleaner foods, more water)
• Healing pieces of myself that I’ve ignored.
• Moving my body daily
• Finish my degrees
• Moving towards a new horizon (Literally….. see ya, Kansas!! 👋🏼)

I’m just documenting my line in the sand … the moment a woman finally decides she is going to take her health back.

Starting today, the vision changes. 👑🙌🏼👑

I guard this version of me differently because it cost me too much to become her.

So yes, I’m choosing myself.
Yes, I’m moving different.
Yes, I’m done explaining why.

Today is day one of changing everything for myself.
Not to prove a point.
Not to make anyone uncomfortable.
Not to carry people who are committed to staying the same.

I’m building a life that feels like freedom, peace, and forward motion.

DONE waiting.
DONE shrinking.
DONE putting my life on pause while everybody else figures themselves out.

I’m making moves, getting serious, and changing the trajectory of my life.
Who’s coming with me?… That’s not my job to figure out anymore.

Either way, I won’t be in Kansas by the end of this year. 💯💯💯

Whew… today was a very long day.

Saving an elderly woman’s life was definitely not on my April bingo card, but thankfully my middle daughter and I were in the right place at the right time when she took a nasty fall, went unconscious, and stopped breathing.

We jumped into action quickly while the staff at Girard Animal Hospital called 911.

Girard EMS, Fire, and Officer Coen were all amazing, and I’m so grateful for them and for the staff at Girard Animal Hospital too. We stayed with her until her husband was able to get there.

She’s been on my mind ever since it happened this morning, and I’m praying she’s going to be okay.

Just one of those days that shakes you up and reminds you how fast everything can change.🩵

Today got away from me, but this little package showing up still felt like a win. ✨

There’s just something about seeing our new CURATED brand on the box that makes it all feel a little more exciting. 🤩

Can’t wait to open this one. 🙌🏼

Happy Easter. 🤍

A lot can happen in a week.

This week is such a powerful reminder of what Jesus endured the betrayal, the suffering, the cross, the waiting… and then the resurrection.

He is risen.

I think Easter calls us to remember that when life feels hard, heavy, or uncertain, the story is not over.

The cross was not the end.
The grave was not the end.
And the hard parts of life are not always the end either.

There is so much hope in remembering that because He rose, we can hold on with faith, trust God more deeply, and keep going even when the road feels hard.

Wishing you a blessed and peaceful Easter. ✨

Lately I’ve just been trying to come back to myself.

Not in some big dramatic way.
Just in the small, everyday ways.

Listening more closely to my own heart.
Letting things get quieter where they need to.
Learning to stop forcing what no longer fits.

I think rebuilding can look like that sometimes.
Not loud. Not polished.
Just tender, honest, and one step at a time.

And maybe that’s enough for right now.
To trust the process.
To loosen my grip.
To believe that even here, something beautiful is still being shaped.

God, light the way. ✨🥰

Good Friday. 🩵

Today is a sacred reminder of the depth of Jesus’ love, the weight of His sacrifice, and the hope that was still being written even in the middle of sorrow.

Good Friday is about love that laid itself down, grace that covered what we never could, and faith that trusts God is still moving even when things feel heavy and uncertain.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8

Wishing each of you a peaceful Good Friday filled with reflection, gratitude, and quiet hope. 🤍

There are moments in life that change you so fast, you do not even realize who you are becoming until you look back.

One conversation. One loss. One decision. One door closing. One door opening. One moment of impact.

And suddenly the life you knew does not fit the same anymore.

I think sometimes we believe change is supposed to come gently, when really it can come in hard and holy ways. It can shake everything loose. It can knock the wind out of you. It can crack open parts of your heart you did not even know were waiting to be touched.

That is the wild part about life. It can change in an instant whether you feel ready or not. Whether you have your footing or not. Whether you understand it yet or not.

Some moments break you open. Some moments wake you up. Some moments ask more of you than you thought you had to give in that moment.

But they also shape you.

They deepen you. They soften you. They make room for a version of you that did not exist before.

Not every moment of impact feels good while you are living it. Some feel confusing. Some feel unfair. Some feel like everything is moving too fast. But later, you realize that moment carried you somewhere your old self never could have gone.

Life has a way of moving us. Stretching us. Changing us. And even when it feels sudden, there is often something bigger happening inside us than we can explain at the time.

I do not think every hard moment comes to destroy us. Some come to introduce us to ourselves.

And maybe that is the beauty in it all.

How fast life can change. How deeply it can mark us. How one moment can open a world inside of us we did not even know existed.

Hey friends, I’m Michelle. 🩵

I’m in a season of rebuilding my life, my routines, my wellness, and the way I show up in the world.

This page is a place for beauty, lifestyle, wellness, real life, and the things I’m building in this season. Just me sharing what I love and becoming more of myself along the way.

I’m glad you’re here.
