HELLO FRIENDS! The DAY has COME to announce the "CRYSTAL CABINS" are OPEN and ONLINE! We're calling it "Board Camp Crystal Retreat"! We have 5 cabins open and the other 3 will be ready to open in a couple months!

and we "named" each cabin... you'll see when you visit the link and view the PHOTOS! :)
Here's some basic FYIs here:
1. The nightly rate is $129, minimum 2-night stay, for 2 Adults per cabin, minimum age 21. Plus 10.5% sales tax, but NO extra fees! We have always been up front with yall, and we will NOT charge you an extra surprise fee! We have always done our best to earn your trust! And we always will!
2. Although we allow pets in the mine if you just come to dig, but please get a pet-sitter for your fur babies while you stay in the Crystal Cabins!
3. While we LOVE to have the kids come to the crystal mine at NO charge, the CRYSTAL CABINS experience is an ADULT-ONLY get-a-way... SOME PEACEFUL QUIET TIME! Also, NO heavy equipment or ATVs are allowed!
4. The cabins are studio-style, but each has its OWN bathroom... sink, potty and shower! Some cabins have queen beds, others have twin... AND we added a "handicap" cabin, that is wheel-chair accessible and a little roomier to meet those needs! Don't worry, you can get out in the mine too!
5. Kitchenettes in all cabins feature a mini-fridge, microwave, pod-style coffee-pot, with Peet's coffee pods supplied, paper cups, etc. Bring breakfast and lunch food if you like and enjoy dinner in town! Yes, TV and wifi too!
6. Crystal Digging and UnXplained Tours are added paid activities, at the usual rates... full price for newbies, and always discounted for returning visitors!
7. We are working to fix up the Crystal Stage, not only for hosting the Tours, but as a common gathering area, with activities such as a fire pit, Bigfoot night-hike, music, and whatever else YALL might suggest! ANY EVENTS planned are SPECIAL for our Cabin Guests ONLY... not open to the public!
8. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. We want yall to ENJOY the nature sounds on a country night!
9. Although you can stay longer, a 2-night stay is a minimum stay. Your 2-night stay (typically weekend) might look like this:
a. Day 1: Check in is 3 pm... so you can arrive and settle in early and grab a bite to eat, then attend our UnXplained Tour at 6 pm. Or just relax on your own little cabin porch and star-gaze, and listen to Nature's night sounds before hittin' the hay!
b. Day 2 is a full day, and we'll get you out in the mine... and by the way... we OPENED a NEW mining area, with NEW trails through the woods! AND we have a nice added feature of a Crystal Cleaning Station for our cabin Guests! You can bring your own tools or rent ours to dig up those beautiful sparkly crystals! Hang out until dinner time, or leave earlier and explore Mena which is only 10 miles west of us... or head east, to explore Norman and Mt. Ida.
c. That evening, have dinner out... google our small-town eateries! Then return in time for the UnXplained Tour at 6 pm.. and we will include the night-hike for those who would like to do that, while others sit on the Stage to watch the night sky and the woods!
d. Day 3, sleep-in a little, then pack up before check-out at 10 am, and go enjoy a local breakfast at a "maw-n-paw"! You are welcome to stay more than the minimum 2 nights of course! That will give you MORE time to explore the beautiful Ouachita area of Arkansas! The Crystal Cabins will be open 7 days a week... March 1- Oct 31!
