Through the hardest times and the best times, one thing has remained the same — the goodness of God. He was good then, and He’s good now. None of us could have imagined the plans the Lord had in store for us, but He had a plan to use it all for our good and His glory.

What an incredible blessing it is to get to see the confidence these boys have in their God. They’ve each faced such hardship, yet they all give thanks for all that God has done in their lives. They trust Him, and the hope they have in Him is real.

We have so much to be thankful for, friends. Whether you’re facing the hardest of trials or rejoicing in the greatest of victories, we hope that you can give thanks to the God who is always good, and that you find true hope in Him, today and every day!

These photos are from our day at Silver Dollar City, where Chad Plein from KY3 spent time with our family, capturing the real heart of how God took two hard, heavy journeys and forged them into one strong, loud, hope-filled story.

Chad is telling this chapter with a level of care, grit, and honesty that means a lot to us, and we’re genuinely grateful for him. It’s a solid reminder of what God can rebuild when you hand Him the pieces and keep walking forward.
