With walking events and our amazing teen volunteers, we go through a lot of leashes and we’re running low! We’re currently in need of clip leashes, especially the thicker, durable ones since many of our dogs are bigger and strong.

Every leash helps keep our dogs safe, secure, and ready for walks, events, and their journey to forever homes. 🐕✨

🐾 URGENT HOT DOG DONATIONS NEEDED! 🐾

Our furry friends at Fort Smith Animal Haven need your help!

Many of our dogs are currently receiving treatment for illnesses, heartworms, and other medical conditions that require daily medications. Some are scared, stressed, or learning to trust people again. One thing that helps tremendously? Hot dogs!

We use hot dogs to:
❤️ Hide medications for dogs receiving treatment
❤️ Encourage sick dogs to eat
❤️ Reward and comfort frightened or nervous dogs
❤️ Help build trust with dogs who have been through difficult situations

Something as simple as a package of hot dogs can make a huge difference in helping our fur babies heal and feel safe.

"Touch a Truck" - sponsored by The United Way - is almost here! ☝️

"Touch a Truck" is a free, hands-on, family-friendly community event that allows kids to explore, climb on, and interact with large vehicles of all shapes and sizes. 🚒🚓

Enjoy TWO "Touch a Truck" events on:

1.) Wednesday, June 10 at OG&E in Panama
2.) Wednesday, June 17 at Van Buren High School

9:00 to 1:00 p.m.
