TODDLER MISSING, MOTHER ARRESTED.
Where is Genesis?
2 year old Genesis Reid was reported missing on Monday, February 16, 2026 in Enterprise Alabama.
Her mother said she discovered Genesis was not in her bed at around 3 a.m. and that the front door to their home was open.
Law enforcement’s ongoing search and investigation continues. Multiple local, state, and federal agencies are involved, including the Enterprise Police Department and the FBI.
Authorities have not located Genesis and she remains missing, with search efforts extending through the weekend and beyond.
Genesis’s mother, 33-year-old Adrienne Reid, has been arrested and charged with filing a false report to law enforcement due to inconsistencies in her account of the disappearance.
A judge set her bond at $1 million (cash only), and she remains in custody pending any posting of that bond.
If released, strict conditions such as GPS monitoring, drug testing, and daily check-ins would be required.
Investigators now believe Genesis has not been seen for several weeks, not just since the date she was reported missing.
Search teams have used certified cadaver dogs and other specialized methods around the residence and nearby wooded areas, although these efforts have not yet yielded evidence.
Police have also mentioned seeking information on a woman identified only as “Moriah” as someone they want to speak with, though authorities emphasize this person is not confirmed as a suspect.
In southeast Alabama, residents in towns such as Enterprise, Andalusia, Hartford, and Ozark are lighting homes in pink and organizing community events to show support and raise awareness for Genesis.
Digital billboards with Genesis’s information have been placed around the area to encourage tips from the public.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Genesis’s whereabouts, especially anyone who had contact with her mother Adrienne between late December 2025 and February 16, 2026; to contact the Enterprise Police Department at (334) 347-2222.
This situation is still developing, and updates may continue to emerge as investigators follow leads and public tips.
