These are my favorites for this year, eps/albums. I also have a list of ones that I like but haven't put the time in to put on a definitive list but that's a different post.
No order here but
1. RRitual of DespairIs by far my favorite and most listened to album of the year, pure heavy and pi**ed deathcore
2. SSigns of the SwarmFantastic top tier record, Vocals are fire
3 IImmortal Disfigurement, One of my favorite bands and this EP did not disappoint
4. CCrown MagnetarCame out the gate at the beginning of the year with a fantastic heavy EP that I revisit often.
5 TTHE STYGIAN COMPLEXAfter the band calling it quits last year they came back with a EP that was short but was a slapper
6 TTraitorsOne of my favorite vans they came out and this album had all of their sounds combined into one great album
7 SSquelchingWhat a great pi**ed and incredibly heavy new band with this fire EP that I need to put a ton more time into.
8 LLarcɆnia RoɆ A super heavy and diverse album with a different heavy for any type of deathcore fan, same as the vocal
performance.
9 PPsycho-FrameWith their fantastic take on the Myspace Deathcore sound that I grew up with in high school.
