A new year, a new hack! Get a load of this phishing email I received:
From: Parking Violations Bureau
Parking violation notice

City of Dallas records indicate that a parking citation(s) issued to the vehicle described below has not been paid. This fines and applicable penalties area past due and must be paid within the next ten calendar days. DMV records show that you are/were the registered owner at the time this vehicle was cited. Therefore, you are legally responsible for responding to this notice.

Telltale signs:
1. Bad reply address (what does jbconstruction have to do with parking fines?)
2. Complete absence of vital details of my car make & model or the owner name.
Please don't fall for it! Although the email appears legit, it has just been sent to a range of email addresses originating from the Dallas area.
