My common sense dictates that there's really something wrong with General Torre, the chief of the PNP. I don't know if he is really like that, or he's just being used by this current administration.
Given that a government official says "sumbagay na lang ta" (let's have a fist fight), are you really that dumb and low enough to take it? Are you going to use your time to waste on this rather than working on what's important? Do you think it's a great addition to your career that you build with integrity, discipline, and character to take the fight? Mura man inuon ug batang way buot na mupatol ra kung hagiton. Abi ba nako, "All PNP members shall adhere to a high standard of morality and decency and shall set good examples for others to follow."
Between the two of them, VM Baste is younger. He should have kept himself from being dignified because he's been in the police for decades. He should know better when to take comments seriously and discern whether to go with them or not. With what happened, it tells more about him than VM Baste, hindi ka pala pinagtibay ng panahon sa pagiging isang pulis. Dali ra man diay ka ulug-ulogan.
