IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF TEXAS, PLEASE SIGN/SHARE THIS PETITION TO THE GOVERNOR Governor Abbott: We would like you to champion legislation that 1) forces ERCOT to winterize their system, and 2) caps Texas utility (electrical) charges, paid by residents, to no more than 10% above the national average of the continental US. The reason being, that although ERCOT has shown great profits over the last several years, it is foreseeable that they will claim a need to increase customer payments to cover the winterizing improvements that they should have done years ago. If the improvements had been made over time, there would be plenty of money for them. A class action lawsuit by the residents of Texas likely has no merit, and even if it did, ERCOT would simply raise prices to pay for it. As such, it seems the only way to get the company to pay for improvements that should have already been done, is to restrict the amount of money they are able to extort from the citizens of Texas. The above proposal, to still allow ERCOT to collect 10% more than the national average, is more than fair---as the costs of providing power to Texas are likely lower than most places (i.e., as the gas and oil do not have to be shipped from out of state). https://www.change.org/p/greg-abbott-cap-texas-utility-electrical-payments-paid-by-residents?recruiter=1181842246&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=share_petition&recruited_by_id=37047860-72e1-11eb-9065-43df267f1318&utm_content=fht-27451452-en-us%3A0&fbclid=IwAR0gqJXYKaOmcQvp9YAMEuBx4vHs_AXdGqYnrkqZgiJ67N_GcMTB9c1BCLI

It’s been over 6 months since we’ve been married and our vendor will not return our wedding video and breached our contract. He keeps promising to deliver and never does. I was suppose to meet him last week at Starbucks for the video and he stood me up. I ended up waiting an hour after our meeting was suppose to happen. He is now not answering our phone callas and texts and emails. We got in contact with our wedding coordinator and she couldn’t reach him either.. Also neither could our wedding day makeup and hair...Thank goodness we had a different vendor for our photos otherwise we wouldn’t have had anything to capture our wedding day... I’m so disappointed, brides to be - do not use the company Warpig photos or videography (Maurice Warnell and his wife Kierstyn Warnell ) https://instagram.com/kierstynwarnell?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=x0t4kcyqcx6s https://www.instagram.com/warpiginc/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005225644131 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002056235748 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005225644131 D Magazine
For the first time in the United States we are bringing all these breeds of horses from miniature to large into 1 show! Don’t miss this spectacular event!
I have never been so disappointed or upset. This morning we received a su***de note from a friend who stopped answering our calls and texts ...and we tried to call 911. 911 said they could not help us because the case was in a city outside dallas county and for us to call 411. I called 411 and was disconnected. I then called 911 again and was transferred and disconnected. I called the police department of Aubrey and no answer and then I called the fire department of Aubrey . The fire department of Aubrey gave me a direct line to the Aubrey police department in which they finally took the case and I hope after 20 minutes of calling for help that our friend is ok. I then called the dallas county sheriffs department to file a complaint and was transferred to 911 supervisor in which the supervisor told me that they receive 2.1 million calls a year and that they don’t have the resources ...including no internet and 411 was probably our best bet. Seriously? As a taxpayer you can’t even call 911 to get someone help?!? I hope our friend is ok but most importantly what about others who need help and can’t get access, or don’t know to contact the local county fire department ? This is unacceptable... does anyone know who else I can contact ?
