What do you guys think of Cynthia erivo playing jesus christ ? Do you guys think it should be played by a female? 🤔 or if they should of leave it alone the way it was before ? Was anyone else rubbed the wrong way that they did this ? I saw bits and clips of the show but didnt part take in watching the whole show .I felt personally that it was blasphemy and that it shouldn't be played by a female at all . not cause of her color skin or anything like that . But to me jesus isn't a female at all and in a way made me feel like they were mocking him in their performance . Then at the end they made is seem that it was a final act and he didn't come back & resurrect. Which also rubbed me the wrong way .

The devil doesn’t care if you’re “spiritual;” in fact, he prefers it. He’s supportive of your crystals, your tarot cards, and your rituals. He’s not threatened by your affirmations or your “good vibes only” lifestyle. He doesn’t even blink when you say you’re “spiritual but not religious.”

Because to him, “spiritual but not religious” usually means “spiritual but not saved.”

You see, the devil loves vague spirituality. He loves when women say they believe in “the Universe,” but not the God of the Bible. He loves when they seek guidance from spirit guides, but never cry out to the Holy Spirit. He loves when they meditate to empty their minds, but never renew them with God’s Word.

Satan is fine with you searching for peace, as long as you don’t find Jesus the Prince of Peace.

He’s perfectly content with you calling yourself “divine,” so long as you never bow your knee to the One who is Divine.

The New Age tells you you’re powerful, yet it won’t tell you the truth: that you’re a sinner like everyone else in desperate need of a Savior. It promises healing, awakening, and alignment, but it can’t give you the one thing your soul truly needs: salvation.

The devil will encourage you to chase after “feeling spiritual” all day long, as long as you stay far from Jesus, as long as you never repent, never pick up your Bible, and never pray for Jesus to save your soul.

The devil is insanely trying to compete with God in order to win souls to follow him instead of Jesus. The devil loves when “spiritual“ people follow him because they’ve rejected the saving Gospel. 

Jesus said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

Being spiritual won’t save you.

Only Jesus can.

As a former “spiritual but not religious” person who was unknowingly hell-bound, let me please encourage you to open the Bible and read the Gospel of John. Pray for God to reveal the truth to you about Jesus, and then repent for sinning against our holy God, and pray for Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. This is the most important use of your time today.

The devil doesn’t care about you. Jesus cares! I care about your soul. And I pray that you care about your soul enough to turn to Jesus today.
