We're making a comeback!!! That's right, Surf Truck is starting back up! It took us a while to get the Truck started again, but after a cough, some backfiring, and some smell we can't quite identify we got it to start. Now we just need to get it rolling, and that's where you come in!
We're opening our doors for anyone who wants to come in and make creative online content. You have a creative project you've been thinking about? Bring it to us, and we'll help you get it started!
We're currently working on making video game content (Let's Plays), but we also have a narrative-based machinima series in the works as well as an Anime themed project. Basically we're nerds and we like nerd stuff. Join us and help us with an existing project, or come up with something new. Either way, come join us!
Our first meeting is Saturday January 30th, at noon, and we'll be meeting every two weeks after that. The meeting will be at Joshua Svaleson's house.
Message us and let us know if you want to join, or with any questions. Thanks everyone!

The Life of Surfer Kate (ep1)

So Josh made a video. it's pretty funny. Give it a watch. Give it a 'like' if you enjoyed it, and share with your friends! Hopefully there will be more of these, if you all like it

Watch as Surfer Kate goes about her day-to-day activities. Despite how it looks I was really trying to keep her going straight during the end bicycle run. Li...

Wanted to give another update on our progress so far. Yes, we're still working on content, despite all the delays. We have some very cool content in the production lineup and I honestly cannot wait to finish it up and show you all. We've had a lot of issues-mostly hardware issues- much of which stemmed from our company's namesake -my dodge surf truck- which broke down a lot and caused me to spend money on that instead of desperately needed equipment. I've since gotten rid of the truck and I've been able to get computers and other equipment. My plan is to have our main narrative-based show "Off We Go!" out by the end of summer. We will then start releasing minecraft let's plays, heist let's plays, and eventually an anime discussions show some of us have been talking about doing. I appreciate the patience and support everyone's shown us. More to come later!

We are planning some good stuff for the upcoming year. Some different series will be developing along with some Let's Plays. Is there any games you would like to see us play?

So for those of you who may not have heard, a couple months of months ago we decided to do a complete restart on the web series we were producing 'Help I can't get out!'. It was a difficult decision for us to make, especially with so much work having already been done, but one that ultimately had to be made. There were several problems with the old series. Filming for each individual episode was taking 3-4 days or longer (a real problem when the crew can only meet 2-3 times a month). we want to get to a model that allows us to film, edit, and put out an episode a week and we just weren't able to achieve that in the old series. So with Matthew Boone's help I rewrote the whole series to allow for easier filming, and quite honestly much funnier content. I'm really proud of the new script and I think you will all enjoy it, too. It's shorter and we cut a few characters out, but I think it will really work in our favor. The title has also changed. I am very proud to present to you "Off We Go!"
I would really like to thank everyone who helped us make the old series with either voice acting, machinimating, editing, or giving us good feedback. You guys are all awesome and I would love to continue making content with you all. Aside from 'Off We Go!' we also have many more ideas for other series and productions that we really want to make and put out. I personally have dozens and dozens of stories that I would like to tell in some form or fashion. With your help I think we can do it. Let's tell some great stories, shall we?

would like to take a moment and apologize for taking so long getting the show launched. This is new territory for all of us and we're having to learn everything as we go. We are getting closer to launch and I promise it will come out and it will be funny. In the meantime I wanted to give some proof that we're diligently working ... or at least proof that some relationships are blossoming while working on this project.

We just recently uploaded our first video from our Minecraft web series "Help! I Can't Get Out!" This is just a preview of what we're attempting to accomplish. Not many people know or understand the term "Machinima" so this gives us a way of showing what we're doing to people who may not quite understand. This also gives us amateur filmmakers a chance to post some of our work and get feedback as to what we need to improve before we start releasing regular content. So please feel free to give us any feedback on what you thought of our video.
One of the main things we saw was the timing between lines. That was something we noticed when i was timing the audio to the video we had already filmed and cut together. It was literally the last step and to redo it would mean starting over at the beginning so we decided to just leave it as it is. Our plan is to work on getting our head-bobbing (pretty sure that's an official term) tighter without the awkward pauses.
That was the biggest thing we noticed and our main area of improvement. There were other smaller issues like video quality (an easy fix when we go to render the video) and the background music was louder than I personally wanted it to be. All the background music was intended for was to hide some of our audio goofs and the 'white noise' that came with some of our audio. Again, minor issues that can be easily fixed.
Again, please feel free to give us feedback. I'd like to personally thank everyone who has been working on this project and helping us, as well as the people who support us and cheer us on -keep it coming, it helps drive us forward. Thanks again, and tune back in for more videos. We're aiming for June 1st as a launch date for our show!
