The secret to better hosting starts in the garden. 🌿

Mine begins with mint, rosemary and a pot of cornflower in galvanized tubs — herbs for muddling, edible flowers for floating in drinks, garnishes that turn an ordinary cocktail into something special. 🌾

A cocktail garden is hosting taken one step further: care and intention poured into every glass, starting long before guests ever arrive. 🪷

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

It was fun to shop my sister's house to style her antique dresser in the guest room.

The Night 🌙 Owl gets wine, a mini charcuterie tray, a lovely candle and good summer reads.

The 🌞 Morning Glory gets coffee, granola and fruit, the morning paper and books on things to do in Santa Fe.

Sometimes the most meaningful hospitality isn't a perfectly prepared meal or a beautifully styled centerpiece. 💙

It's looking someone in the eye, asking how they're really doing, listening without rushing, and making space for them to simply be.💙

A table has a way of slowing us down. It invites stories, laughter, tears, and honest conversation. It reminds us that being noticed and cared for is often the very thing our hearts need most.💙

This week, may we worry less about impressing and focus more on welcoming.💙

You never know who might leave your table feeling lighter, encouraged, or deeply loved simply because you made them feel seen.💙

That's the kind of hospitality that lingers long after the dishes are cleared. 🤍
