Some cases just tell you exactly what kind of day you’re about to have. 😂🦷

Full-mouth NSPT, heavy inflammation, plenty of calculus, and definitely a case where I want every advantage I can get.
PerioDT has become one of those things I genuinely appreciate having in my perio protocol. It’s not an antibiotic, it works through desiccation, and on cases like this I notice the difference in visibility, instrumentation, and honestly… my hands appreciate it too. 👏🏼

We see signs of clenching and grinding ALL the time…(maybe not THIS obvious 😂).

So I’m curious… when you start seeing the signs, what does that conversation look like in your office?

Nightguard? Airway? Stress? Botox? Referral? All of the above depending on the patient?

I feel like we all have our own way of approaching this one, so tell me what you’re looking for and where you usually go from there. 👇🏼🦷

Still finding more reasons to reach for PerioDT. 👏🏼🦷

One of my favorite things about desiccation therapy is its versatility. From gingivitis therapy and heavy supragingival calculus to periodontal treatment, those 30 seconds help reduce the bacterial load and create a cleaner, more visible working environment before instrumentation.

Simple addition. Intentional therapy. And a clinical difference I can actually see.

The dental workforce conversation is getting interesting. 👀

We’re talking about creating new roles to provide preventive services while licensed dental hygienists are still advocating for expanded scope and greater autonomy in many states.

I’m all for solutions that improve access to care. But maybe fully utilizing the providers we already have deserves a spot higher on the list? 🙃
