Had a puppy pass away on us this morning.. this was the last video i took of her 😔

We noticed she wasn’t gaining as much weight as the other pups and it was slowly down hill from there.

The vets weren’t much help fr and all they could offer after protest was a tube feeding kit that we could use at home.

We separated her, kept her warm, checked on her every 10-20 min to make sure she was still breathing, did about 10 tube feedings that were all successful but in the end it just didn’t do what it needed to.

We know this breeding game comes with some challenges and that a fading puppy is something you might eventually experience but when you put so much time and effort into keeping a pup alive you can’t help but feel some time of way when they kick the bucket.

Nevertheless, it’s a learning experience at the end of the day and something we’ll hopefully be better prepared for on the next go round.

We still have 9 strong healthy pups that need our TLC and we’re here for them as well as Big Mama 🖤🐾

Ooo Big Mama tied! 🥱💤

Them first couple days.. really the first 2/3 weeks after giving birth is something else bruh!

Feedings every 2 to 3 hours, CLEANING, loving on mama, making sure the pups gaining weight etc.. it’s a lot to say the least 🗣️

We right there with her thru it all tho trust n believe! 🙏🏾❤️

I’m not even gonna lie… this was a LITERAL S**T SHOW 💀

Got off work early and stopped by the house to let the dogs out, give them some water, check on everything… only to walk through the door and realize Reina had decided TODAY was the day. 😭

Blood. S**t. Discharge. EVERYWHERE.

The house still dirty.
Missing some whelping supplies.
The pads and bedding not clean.
The whelping box was barely even set up!

And while all this is happening, Reina basically like… “yeah it’s that time playa 🤷🏽‍♀️”

So we scrambling trying to get everything together, running to the laundromat to wash pads and towels WHILE SHE IS STILL ACTIVELY GIVING BIRTH ON THE HARDWOOD FLOOR mind you 😭

It was hella chaotic, stressful, messy af, NOT TO MENTION the AC went out so it’s pushing 100 degrees in the crib!

But at the end of the day… Mama knew exactly what she was doing. 🐾❤️

This is the side of breeding people don’t always see so I figured I’d give yall a glimpse of what it looks like when you’re unprepared 😂

Everybody loves the cute puppy pictures and the announcement posts…

But sometimes it’s midnight, blood on the floor, dirty house, supplies still in the Amazon truck, and you forced to sink or swim.

And with all that, we still made it shake!

🚨 A NEW CHAPTER FOR SUN TZU 🚨

It’s with a heavy heart to announce that our 6-month old Sun Sun is looking for a new home where he can truly thrive and be the right fit for his new family.

With some major changes happening in our lives, as well as expecting a new litter here soon.. we’d much rather get him into a home that has the time, attention and consistency he needs to help him be great and live a good life.

He’s:
✅ Housebroken
✅ Basic obedience
✅ Good with other animals
✅ Loves car rides
✅ Socialized & Exposed
✅ Solid training foundation

ADULT HOME / NO SMALL CHILDREN.

This would be a Co-own opportunity, as we would love to incorporate him into our program later down the line should he turn out like we’re hoping he will.

As much as we want to keep him, sometimes as a breeder you have to make the hard decision to place a pup in a home that’s better suited for the dog, regardless of how you may personally feel about it and at the end of the day, his well being & what’s best for him has to come first.

Our next litter is officially on the way with pups expected to drop around the 2nd–3rd week of September! 🔥

This litter is the result of a pairing we did with La Potenza Cane Corso & James Kirven Mr. Armstrong “DRACO” — and we’re excited to see what these two produce 👀🔥
