VULNERABLE POST CAUSE EMBARRASSING!!!
This is not even 6 months….

Some days in a weight loss journey feel strong, disciplined, and motivating… and then there are the other days.

The days you’re tired.
The days the scale doesn’t move (or goes the wrong way).
The days you question if anything you’re doing is even working.

Those are the days that matter the most.

Being vulnerable enough to admit “this is hard today” doesn’t make you weak—it makes you real. And real is where growth actually happens. It’s easy to show up when everything feels good… but the transformation comes from showing up when it doesn’t.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to push a little harder than you want to in those moments. Choose the better option. Get the workout in, even if it’s not your best. Drink the water. Take the walk. Keep the promise you made to yourself.

Because those “bad days” aren’t setting you back—they’re building you.

Progress isn’t about always feeling motivated.
It’s about being committed… especially when you’re not.

I wanted to share a day I was defeated. I had a monthly goal and I woke up one morning defeated I weighed in at 139 then the next day it shot back up to 144… I reached out to my trainer so frustrated and defeated BE PATIENT with your body. I just want to share my experience. This chart is MY REAL LIFE scale fluctuations.

One day you’re down a few pounds, the next day it jumps right back up—and nothing about your effort actually changed. That’s because weight fluctuates… a LOT. I’ve learned Water retention, hormones, sodium, stress, sleep, workouts, even what time you ate last—all of it plays a role.

That number is not a perfect reflection of your progress. It’s just a snapshot of one moment in time.

So if you’re showing up, putting in the work, and staying consistent—don’t let a temporary spike on the scale mess with your mindset. Progress isn’t linear, and it definitely isn’t defined by a single weigh-in.

Keep going. The bigger picture always tells the real story.
