TRAFFIC Alert - Traffic lights are out on Route 9 at Temple Street. MassDOT is working to get them back up and running. Framingham Public Works placing cones in the area.

Heads up! Road work on Brook Street.

For those traveling down Edgell and Brook Street, you'll be experiencing construction in the area.

Brook Street will be worked on until early August.

This week: Monday and Tuesday is milling work on Brook and Edgebrook. Wednesday is paving. Sidewalk work begins on Thursday through August.

Work takes place from 7:00am to 5:00pm. There are detours, see the map from the city below and please follow the signs as you navigate the area. Roads will be open to residents.

This morning Framingham gathered in the Memorial Building to remember its sons and daughters who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Three Medals of Liberty and four Medals of Fidelity were presented to Gold Star Families on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Medal of Liberty Honorees:
Private Nicholas G. Beram
Private Charles H. Coates
Lieutenant Junior Grade Gilbert C. Paine

Medal of Fidelity Honorees:
Storekeeper Third Class William J. Bates
Technical Sergeant William S. Beckford
