Everyone loves a holiday weekend, but how many of us know much at all about the origins of Labor Day?
Here are a few fast facts:
- Labor Day originated from the organized labor movement in the late 19th century.
- President Grover Cleveland declared it a national holiday in 1894. (It’s always the first Monday in September!)
- According to modern fashion experts, it’s completely acceptable to wear white after Labor Day. 😉
