The stats:

Free admission.

Over 100 artist from Texas and 1 group from Nashville

5 new artist first performances

3 artist performed for a live radio broadcast from the ranch. Talk about Texas with Roy Holly.

Maintained local artist support with 50% of the artist being from BCS, Franklin, Hearne or surrounding.

Maintained that every artist would be paid for their service. Even the 6 year olds:)

Hit 1000 Likes on FB. (On the day of the final show)

Gave away 5 electric guitars

Total cost was about $10,000 which is $2000 per show. This is money that came from sponsors that was used for band payrol, marketing and equipment cost. This is figured on the low side and doesn't include out of pocket expenses from the staff.

Overall attendance across the board was about 500 folks. Not including the 1000 folks that came on the 4th of July.

The series had no fights, no injuries, no drugs, no alcohol, no smoking, not a single problem occurred at every show.
(Well.. Maybe the 12 foot beach ball tackled a couple of folks, but we have it on a leash now)

What does it take to produce a 5 month long summer concert series? There is a list of people below. These are the folks you have to have to get it done! These are the folks that hauled the gear, lifted the amps, put up the sun shades, rolled out the speaker cables, donated their time, labor and fuel to make it happen. Some of these folks simply pointed me in the right direction when I didn't know who to go to get things done and that made the difference. Volunteering in 110 degree Saturdays and working 16 hours with very little downtime. Driving in from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio & Austin to help. I could go on and on about the work these folks did.

I'm very grateful and I will never forget it.

Hats off.

Rockn the Ranch is a rain or shine show. Bring a raincoat and an umbrella. We are rockn thru the rain.
We don't cancel concerts because of scatted showers, we just take a break let it pass thru.

Zombies, Vampires and little kids dressed like batman are welcome!

Chuck Batten was mad at me because I didn't have any food cooked at the last concert.. So he's making 60 pounds of Championship Chili for the Concert on Oct 24th. That's like enough chili for both of us..and everyone else in Franklin. :)

Come eat and see some of the best bands in Texas!!
