⭐️Strength training with progressive overload ⭐️
The biggest predictor of how well you’ll age isn’t sitting on your bathroom counter. It’s how much muscle you maintain.
💪Women who strength train consistently have been shown to have better skin elasticity and healthier aging markers than women who don’t. Muscle gives your face structure.
Here’s why:
As we age, we lose muscle everywhere—including our face. That loss doesn’t just affect strength—it affects metabolism, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, hormone health, posture, energy, and yes… how your skin ages.
Muscle acts like a metabolic sink.🥳
The more muscle you have, the better your body is at managing glucose, reducing inflammation, and supporting cellular repair.
Translation?
✅ Better skin elasticity
✅ Better circulation
✅ Better collagen support
✅ Better facial structure
✅ Better aging outcomes overall
I’m not saying skip the skincare. Believe me, I invest in the best products, lasers, botox, etc. But, I did all of that before I prioritized strength training.
I AM saying if you’re spending hundreds on anti-aging products but not strength training consistently, you’re ignoring the foundation and it gives you the biggest transformation for an investment in only your time and not $!
