Picking songs for your big day can be kind of overwhelming. There's a lot of big moments, a lot of traditions, and a lot of options. I'm a big fan of making the day your own.
Here's 10 Processional Songs Your Guests Probably Haven't Heard Hundreds of Times:
1.) The Vow - Ruthanne.
Almost entirely acappella, hauntingly serene, and definitely not going to leave a dry eye. This song will have you feel like you're walking through a dream - promise.
2.) Sea of Love - Cat Power
A gentle, indie take on a late-50s love song by Phil Philips. The perfect blend of alternative and timeless.
3.) Bloom - The Paper Kites
Romantic, for sure. Bright, yet still peaceful. Perfect for couples looking for more of a boho feel to their day.
4.) River - Leon Bridges
Guaranteed to make every guest cry. Our favorite photographer walked down the aisle to this sultry, modern-day Motown ballad and we've since adopted it as staple for every wedding day.
5.) Butterflies - Kacey Musgraves
For our couples with country roots that still want to stand out, a bright, fun, flirty love song to let your partner know they still give you butterflies.
6.) Black and White (Stripped) - Niall Horan
A stripped down, raw, acoustic ballad about promising to love your partner for the rest of your life in front of everyone you know. Pretty perfect, huh?
7.) Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron & Wine
A folk favorite for our former Twilight fans. Filled with emotion and soft, sultry vocals.
8.) The One - Kodaline
This song makes us cry even on days that aren't filled by a wedding. Vulnerable lyrics and intense instrumentals that are guaranteed to hit everyone right in the feels.
9.) She Is Love - Parachute
Perfect for couples that are currently telling their moms it was never a phase, it's a lifestyle. The lead singer of this band has the perfect pop-punk voice while still pushing through emotion-filled lyrics and raw, softer guitar melodies.
10.) Your Hand In Mine - Explosions in the Sky
This entirely instrumental, post-rock song is going to give your guests chills in the first 5 seconds. The start of your ceremony is absolutely going to feel like a movie.
