Brett’s back, and this time we’re at his new home base, The Fort in Loveland, Colorado, dialing in the next chapter of his 2022 Low Rider S build. After upgrading the motor to a 131, it was only a matter of time before the clutch needed to come along for the ride.
In this episode, Brett walks you through swapping in a new clutch setup, including replacing the stock Harley ramp with the brand-new S&S Heavy-Duty Compensator Ramp, and chasing down some aesthetic details that, of course, turn into a much bigger project than expected. Those ARP bolts he wants to run? Yeah… that “simple” change means lifting the engine, pulling the starter, and doing a whole lot more than planned, which is exactly why Choppin’ Ain’t Easy.
With a little after-hours help from Randy (staying past shop hours like a legend), Brett gets everything buttoned back up and the bike ready to rack up those crucial break-in miles before heading to the dyno on a later date.
