Episode 16 drop 👇🙏

In this heartfelt episode of Grief Lifted: Rising Above Through Faith, I sit down with my daughter, Delanie, as she shares her personal journey through grief following the loss of her beloved grandmother and grandfather. With honesty and vulnerability, Delanie reflects on the special bond she shared with her grandmother, the emotions she experienced before and after her passing, and how losing someone she loved so deeply has impacted her life, perspective, and faith.

Together, we discuss the challenges of navigating loss at a young age, the questions that often arise in seasons of grief, and the comfort that can be found in God's presence through life's hardest moments. Delanie's story is a powerful reminder that while grief changes us, faith can sustain us, hope can carry us forward, and the love we share with those we've lost remains a lasting part of who we are.

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one or walking alongside someone who is, this episode offers encouragement, understanding, and the reminder that even in our deepest sorrow, God is faithful and never leaves us to walk through it alone.

Live for Them: Choosing Love Over Grief

Have you ever realised that when we weep for those we’ve lost, we are actually weeping for ourselves?

We cry because we miss their presence, because our days feel emptier without them. We get trapped in the mindset that death is the absolute end, believing they have simply vanished.

But what if they haven’t disappeared at all? What if they’ve just moved on to somewhere else?

If we truly believe they are now in a place free from pain, sickness, and earthly suffering, then why do we let our grief consume us?

Once we accept that they haven't ceased to exist—that they’ve just transitioned to a much brighter peace—the weight of mourning begins to lift. We can finally trade the heavy sorrow for beautiful memories, letting the joy of the time we shared walk beside us again.

If you loved them then, love them even deeper now. Love them purely, without the weight of regrets or unspoken words.

Let love be the only bridge left between you.

Your grief is real, and it deserves its space. Cry when you need to. But please, don’t let your own life end just because theirs did.

Right now, we are only looking at one side of the coin. We are staring at the darkness of loss instead of the incredible light of where they are now.

What if we shifted our perspective and viewed passing away not as an end, but as a second birth? A journey we will all take one day.

Don't wither away in your grief.

Honour their memory by living fully, beautifully, and passionately—exactly the way they would want you to.

Let them fly free, and you? You keep living.

But... not one size fits all and i know this. My intentions in this post were filled with love and empowerment - but I totally get that all our grief journeys are so very very different and personal.

Episode 15 dropped…..👇🙏

In this deeply personal episode of Grief Lifted: Rising Above Through Faith, we talk about grief, tears, sorrow, and the pressure so many grieving people feel to “stay strong” while silently carrying overwhelming pain. Through heartfelt reflection and biblical truth, this episode reminds listeners that grief is not weakness — it is evidence that love existed deeply and sincerely.

We also dive into the powerful story of Jesus and Lazarus in John chapter 11. Jesus already knew resurrection was coming, yet He still wept. That truth changes everything. This episode unpacks what it means to grieve with faith, why tears do not offend God, and how Jesus steps directly into our sorrow rather than away from it. Faith does not erase grief — faith gives grief a place to go.

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a marriage, friendship, job, health, identity, or life as you once knew it, this conversation is meant to encourage you not to suppress the tears. Your grief is valid. Your sorrow matters. And you are not alone. Jesus understands every hidden pain, every silent tear, and every emotion you carry — and He will walk with you through it all.

Episode 14 dropped 👇🫶🙏

In this episode, I sit down with my dear friend, Kristi Tappan, as she shares her deeply personal journey through the devastating loss of her husband, Jayson, just days before their daughter’s wedding.

Together, we talk openly about grief, heartbreak, healing, faith, and how profound loss can completely change the way we move forward in life. Kristi vulnerably shares how God has carried her through unimaginable pain, restored her faith, and helped her find hope and purpose again. If you are walking through grief, loss, or life-changing hardship, my prayer is that this episode reminds you that you are not alone and that healing and hope are still possible through Faith.

Episode 13 just dropped….👇🫶🙏

In Episode 13 of Grief Lifted: Rising Above Through Faith, I share how profound grief has completely changed the way I view life, faith, purpose, and eternity. After losing both of my parents, I found myself no longer living for temporary things, but instead seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and a more intentional way of living.

In this episode, we talk about grief, faith, purpose, eternity, and how pain can often draw us closer to God. My prayer is that this conversation encourages anyone walking through loss, heartbreak, or life-changing circumstances to cling to Christ, live intentionally, and remember that this world is not our forever home.
