Everyone’s focused on the opportunity… I’m thinking about the gap.
I believe something is shifting financially right now—you can feel it.
Crypto, stablecoins, and tokenized assets are starting to plug into the financial world piece by piece, bridging traditional markets with blockchain in ways we haven’t really seen before.
But here’s what I keep thinking about… does this actually level the playing field, or does it create an even bigger gap?
Because every system—old or new—has layers. There are people who understand it early, people who build it, people who control access, and people who come in late. That doesn’t disappear just because the technology changes. If anything, it might widen the gap at first.
Yes, things may get better—faster money, more access, more efficiency. But they also get more complex. And the people paying attention early? They tend to position themselves differently.
But here’s the part most people miss…
Being early doesn’t guarantee anything. A lot of early money gets it wrong, and a lot of projects don’t make it. The real advantage comes from being early and understanding what actually lasts.
I’m not saying this is good or bad—I’m saying it’s happening. And I’d rather understand it while it’s being built than try to catch up after it’s already established.
What do you think—more opportunity… or a bigger gap?
