Save this for 2026 planning!

Before you set any new goals, we have to audit.

Take some time to sit down and think about the things in your business (and personal life) that worked and didn’t work this year.

The offers, your clients, systems, time boundaries, obligations, hobbies, and messaging.

Yes, you can have hobbies as an entrepreneur!

What would change for next year?

When we set these big goals for ourselves, we have to back them up.

And that starts by cleaning up what is in front of us.

Before you try to launch that new offer because the last one didn’t work, look at why?

Instead of sending out the same emails or posts that get zero responses, figure out where the disconnect is happening? Who can help solve it?

January isn’t your launch time. It’s a good recovery and reset.

Post about your offer for sure! But give everyone a break including yourself.

I get how it feels…

😩You’re overwhelmed.

Creating a course just got a whole lot easier.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard creating a course is overwhelming.

It’s true, it is.

There’s a lot more to it than throwing up some videos and calling it a day.

I’m going to tell you a secret.

Developing a course can cost anywhere from $100 to $10,000+

That’s a serious range!

But no one thinks about the software you may need, the hosting platform, outsourcing and the launch.

Most course creation experts will help you create a course, film it maybe and put it all together.

But what about the launch?

The way I see it, you can spend months sitting on your idea or hire 14 people to get it out into the world.

OR you can hire someone like me to fast track your course.

I take my clients from idea to launch in about two months. Sometimes it’s longer depending on the size of course.

This is the whole thing. Everything you need to finally put your course out there.

Hey, have we met?

I’m Katy, a busy mom of two boys, lover of coffee, teaching people new things and Target wanders.

And yes, my grocery bill is insane with two growing boys!

Five things you should know about me:

1. I shoot pretty straight. If I don’t say it, my face will. 🤣

2. I’ve experienced burn out twice in my nearly 5 yrs in business. (Don’t worry, my boundaries are way better now!)

Not to call it out but here’s the deal…

You’re going to stop listening to the doubters and start listening to your gut because the doubters are holding you back.

As a course creation coach, I hear this all the time.

Someone said the course creation industry is dead. It’s not passive income or why create a course when it takes so much time?

But you don’t have to listen.

In fact, I invite you to trust your gut because their first mistake was underestimating your passion, your grit and your driving force to help people.

F*ck the doubters.

Do you want to create a course? Do you want to totally change everything in your business? Do you want to offer coaching when you’ve been so focused on client work?

Go for it!

Here’s the thing about courses…

they aren’t as hard as you think to create.

They do take some time but the end result is worth it!

Here’s how I know.

My client wanted to be able to create more resources for her potential clients and save the coaching time for a higher ticket offer.

She was getting tired of coaching for hours but feeling like she wasn’t making financial progress in her business.

She was doing what a lot of us do, trading time for money.

We worked together to create her first course and she had a 4 figure launch!

Now that she has the framework, she continues to create mini courses and larger programs.

She’s making more money, has more time and has been able to scale her business without feeling burned out.

To help you out, here’s my top tip:

Start with what you already have. Look at templates, freebies or the process you take your clients through and build that into a mini course.

If you just aren’t sure where to start, book a Power Hour to strategize.

Hot take: You don’t actually have to listen to anyone else tell you how to run your business.

You also don’t need to compare yourself to others because you don’t know what chapter they are on. Bet it’s a different one than you.

At the end of the day, remember why you started. And then celebrate the fact that you actually went for it.

It takes guts to make moves so give yourself a little grace if sales are down or if you aren’t feeling super creative. (Trust me, I get it).
