Amuro Ray is my GOAT. The best pilot in Anime! That boy came from stumbling and crying to becoming the bar for all pilots. Bright Noa hit him with that👋🏾 to the face and changed his life.

Take away the RX-78-2. Take away the ν Gundam. Give every pilot on this ranking the exact same mobile suit.

I'm still choosing Amuro Ray.

Amuro started as a civilian who was suddenly forced into the Gundam, yet survived long enough to develop from an inexperienced teenager into an exceptional combat pilot as his Newtype abilities awakened.

But Newtype ability alone isn't why he's #1.

It's the complete package.

Amuro brings reactions, spatial awareness, precision, adaptability, tactical judgment and years of combat experience. By Char's Counterattack, he wasn't simply operating advanced technology either. He was experienced enough to contribute to the development of the ν Gundam itself.

That's what separates him under the rules of this ranking.

Some pilots may challenge him in individual categories. Setsuna has extraordinary perception and evolution. Athrun is exceptionally versatile. Uso's adaptability is remarkable. Kamille possesses enormous Newtype potential.

But equalize the machines and I trust Amuro to extract the most from whatever he's given while adapting to whatever the battlefield throws at him.

No machine advantage. No signature Gundam.

Just the pilot.

That's why Amuro Ray takes #1 among my S-Tier protagonist pilots.

That was fast. I kinda liked that show. But it does seem formulaic.

Well that was fast! Netflix has canceled 'The Boroughs' after a single season, pulling the plug on the sci-fi series less than a month after it premiered on May 21.

Birthdays are always weird for me. But what my family did for me and those that came with us to celebrate my 40 has really been amazing.

Remember when Cheyenne Bryant, the one who called out Cam Newton and Nick Cannon for being 'low value,' ended up acting a fool on a show? Especially when she kept interrupting the host and they had a whole meeting about it. The irony is just too much.

If the animated show South Park targets your business, especially with controversial skits, it's a sign you need to rethink your model. For most, it means a wrap.

Reflecting on the brilliance of darker comedians like Bernie Mac, Paul Mooney, and Patrice O'Neal. Their ability to deliver powerful, thought-provoking jokes, even on sensitive topics, is truly missed. Can we have race jokes without the racism? It's a tough line to walk.
