We hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!
Mother’s Day, celebrated on the second Sunday in May, is a time to honor and appreciate the incredible contributions of mothers.

The holiday was established in the early 20th century by Anna Jarvis as a tribute to her own mother and mothers everywhere. The first official celebration took place in 1908, and in 1914, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed it a national holiday.

This weekend, our MARC Media Group Team in Gainesville, along with support from our stations I Am Country 106.9 and Magic 101.3 FM, joined the 14th Annual Gator Clot Trot at Depot Park in support of the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of Florida. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been serving Florida's bleeding disorder community since 1996. For over 25 years, they’ve provided essential programs and services that empower individuals living with or affected by bleeding disorders to live life without limits.
