Give me 30 seconds on a business page and I can usually tell where I want to start digging. šŸ‘€

Not because I can diagnose an entire marketing strategy in 30 seconds.

But because certain things stand out FAST.

Can I tell who you're actually trying to reach?

Do I understand what you do without having to hunt for it?

Is your content mostly showing me products and services… or is it giving your customer a reason to care about them?

Do your hooks make me want to stop and keep reading?

Is there an obvious offer?

And if I'm interested… do I know what I'm supposed to do next?

Those first 30 seconds usually give me the questions I want to start asking.

Because sometimes a business owner thinks:

ā€œI need more engagement.ā€

But when I look closer, engagement isn't really the problem.

The messaging is confusing.

Or the offer isn't clear.

Or the content talks almost entirely about the business instead of the customer.

Or people ARE paying attention, but there isn't a clear path from ā€œI'm interestedā€ to ā€œI'm buying.ā€

That's why marketing strategy isn't about finding one magic thing you're doing wrong.

It's about figuring out where the disconnect is happening.

And that's exactly what I dig into during my Marketing Strategy Audits. šŸ”„

I look at your marketing from the outside, follow the customer journey, identify where I'd start making changes, and give you actionable next steps.

Because sometimes you are way too close to your own business to see the thing that's obvious to someone standing outside of it.

DM me AUDIT if you want me to take a look at yours. šŸ‘€šŸ”„

Save this for the next time you have NO idea what to post. šŸ‘€

Instead of starting with:

ā€œWhat should I post about my business today?ā€

Start here:

PROBLEM → EMOTION → SOLUTION → RESULT

šŸ”„ PROBLEM: What is your customer dealing with?

šŸ”„ EMOTION: How does that problem actually make them feel?

šŸ”„ SOLUTION: Where does your product or service fit in?

šŸ”„ RESULT: What does life look or feel like afterward?

Let's say you own a house cleaning business.

You COULD post:

ā€œNow booking house cleanings! Message me for availability.ā€

Or you could use the formula:

Problem: The house is constantly getting away from you.

Emotion: You finally get a day off and spend half of it cleaning instead of actually enjoying it.

Solution: You hire someone to take that job off your plate.

Result: Saturday morning comes and instead of reaching for the mop, you're drinking your coffee in a clean house.

Same service.

Completely different marketing.

One tells me what you sell.

The other makes me think:

ā€œOhhhh. I want THAT.ā€

And that's the point.

Your customer doesn't just want your product or service.

They want what it changes for them.

So next time you're stuck staring at that blank caption box, steal the formula:

Problem → Emotion → Solution → Result

And build your post from there. šŸ”„

Your customer is not walking around all day thinking about your product. šŸ˜‚
They’re thinking about their life.
What’s frustrating them.
What they’re worried about.
What they wish was easier.
What they want to feel like.
What they’re trying to accomplish.
And THEN, somewhere in the middle of all of that, your product or service becomes relevant.
That’s the part of your customer you need to understand.
If you sell clothes, she isn’t waking up thinking,
ā€œI need a new shirt.ā€
Maybe she’s thinking,
ā€œNothing in my closet makes me feel good anymore.ā€
If you clean houses, they’re not spending Tuesday thinking,
ā€œI need to purchase a cleaning service.ā€
They might be thinking,
ā€œI cannot keep up with this house and everything else I have to do.ā€
If you're a photographer, your customer isn't just looking for pictures.
Maybe she's realizing her kids are growing up and she barely has any photos with herself in them.
THAT'S where good marketing starts.
Not with:
ā€œHow do I sell this product?ā€
But with:
ā€œWhat is happening in my customer's life that makes this product matter to them?ā€
Understand the person BEFORE the purchase, and you'll have a whole lot more to talk about than what you're selling. šŸ”„

You know your business better than anyone.

And sometimes… that’s exactly the problem. šŸ‘€

You know why your product is great.

You know what makes your service different.

You understand the industry.

You know what you mean when you write the post.

But your customer doesn’t have all of that context.

That’s why hiring someone for marketing isn’t just paying someone to make cute graphics and think of things to post.

You’re paying for an outside perspective.

For strategy.

For an understanding of customer psychology.

For someone to recognize patterns you might be missing.

For someone to look at your business through the eyes of a potential customer instead of the person who built it.

Sometimes the problem isn’t that you need to do MORE marketing.

You just need someone far enough outside of your business to see what’s happening inside of it.

That’s a huge part of what I do with my Marketing Strategy Audit.

I take an outside look at your marketing, messaging and customer journey, identify the gaps, and give you a prioritized action plan for what I’d actually change.

Because sometimes you don’t need another person telling you to ā€œpost more.ā€

You need someone to tell you what isn’t connecting — and why. šŸ”„

If posting more was the answer… you’d have fixed your marketing by now. šŸ‘€

One of the easiest traps to fall into as a business owner is thinking:

Sales are slow? Post more.

Engagement is down? Post more.

Not reaching new people? POST MORE.

But if you’re already showing up consistently, going from 4 posts a week to 7 isn’t necessarily going to change anything.

Because frequency might not be the problem.

Maybe your messaging isn’t connecting with the people you actually want to reach.

Maybe you’re getting in front of the wrong audience.

Maybe your offer isn’t giving people a strong enough reason to buy.

Maybe your hooks aren’t getting anyone to stop long enough to hear what you have to say.

Or maybe people ARE interested… but somewhere between discovering you and becoming a customer, you’re losing them.

Those problems don’t get fixed by creating three more posts.

They get fixed by figuring out where your marketing is breaking down.

Consistency matters.

But consistency without strategy is really just doing more of something that isn’t working.

Before you ask, ā€œHow can I post more?ā€

Ask:

ā€œWhy isn’t what I’m already posting moving people closer to buying?ā€ šŸ”„

If I audited your business today, these are 3 of the FIRST things I’d look at. šŸ‘€

And notice… none of them are how many followers you have or whether you posted enough this week.

Because you can post constantly and still not have a marketing strategy that actually works.

šŸ”„ Can I immediately tell who you're talking to?

šŸ”„ Does your content give that person a reason to care?

šŸ”„ Is it obvious what you want them to do next?

If any of those pieces are missing, you could be getting views, likes, and even new followers without actually moving people toward becoming customers.

That's exactly why I created my Marketing Strategy Audit.

I take a deeper look at your marketing to figure out what's working, where you're losing people, and what I'd change — then you get a personalized action plan so you know what to focus on instead of throwing more content at the wall and hoping something sticks.

Want me to take a look at yours?

DM me AUDIT and I'll send you the details. šŸ”„

At this point, ā€œI have an ideaā€¦ā€ should probably come with a warning label. šŸ˜‚šŸ”„
But some of the best things in business start with an idea that sounds a little crazy.
Try it. Test it. See what happens.
Worst case? You learn something.
Best case? That crazy idea changes everything.

Okay, you joined the Facebook Groups. You know WHEN to post.

But… what the heck are you actually supposed to post? šŸ˜‚

Welcome to Part 3 of using Facebook Groups to market your business for FREE. šŸ”„

Here are a few posts you can steal:

šŸ”„ THE EVENT POST
Don't just post: ā€œWe're having an event Saturday!ā€

Give them a reason to care.

Try:
ā€œLooking for something fun to do this Saturday?ā€

Then tell them what's happening and why they should come.

šŸ”„ THE PRODUCT/SERVICE POST
Skip the generic ā€œNew arrivals!ā€ or ā€œBook with me!ā€

Try:
ā€œIf you've been looking for _____, we finally have it.ā€

Start with what THEY want. Then introduce what you sell.

šŸ”„ THE PROBLEM/SOLUTION POST
This one works especially well for service businesses.

ā€œStill trying to find someone local who can _____?ā€

You just identified their problem. Now show them how your business solves it.

šŸ”„ THE WEEKEND POST
Give people a reason to add your business to plans they're already making.

ā€œIf you're going to be in _____ this weekend, add this to your listā€¦ā€

šŸ”„ THE PERSONALITY POST
Behind-the-scenes moments. Something funny that happened. A peek at what you're working on. The actual humans behind the business.

Not every post needs to scream ADVERTISEMENT.

The goal isn't to find more places to copy + paste the same sales pitch.

It's to take what your business is already doing and present it in a way that makes the people in that group think:

ā€œWait… that's for me.ā€

That's customer-centered marketing. šŸ”„

Save this one and steal a format for your next Facebook Group post.

Facebook Groups can be one of the BEST free marketing tools for your business—but there’s a strategy to using them. šŸ‘€

Here’s how I’d do it:

šŸ”„ Think beyond your town.
Join groups in surrounding cities too. If someone would realistically drive to your business, you want to be showing up where they are.

šŸ”„ Yes, actually promote your business.
Share your events, new products, promotions, workshops, services and things people genuinely have a reason to know about.

šŸ”„ Post consistently—not constantly.
You don't need to spam every group every day. A couple of strategic posts throughout the week can keep your business visible without making people sick of seeing you.

šŸ”„ Give people time to plan.
If you have something happening this weekend, talk about it early in the week and then remind them closer to the event.

šŸ”„ Account for admin approval.
Many groups approve posts manually. Don't wait until the last minute to post something time-sensitive because it may not go live when you expect it to.

šŸ”„ Be intentional about timing.
Think about when your ideal customer is actually on Facebook—and remember approval time can affect when your post ultimately appears.

šŸ”„ Use REAL content.
Some groups restrict AI-generated promotional graphics, and original photos and videos of your business, products and people often feel more trustworthy anyway.

šŸ”„ Most importantly: speak to your CUSTOMER.
Don't just announce what you're doing. Tell people why they should care, what they'll experience, or how what you're offering benefits them.

Facebook Groups give you access to established local audiences for free.

Use them strategically, and they can become a seriously valuable piece of your marketing plan. šŸ”„

Save this one—you'll want it the next time you're planning your weekly marketing.

You could be sitting on one of the best FREE marketing tools for your business… and barely using it. šŸ‘€

Facebook Groups give you something your business page can't always give you:

Access to communities that already exist.

Your potential customers are already asking for recommendations, talking about their problems, looking for local businesses, and telling you exactly what they need.

The trick?

You can't treat Facebook Groups like your personal billboard. šŸ˜‚

Dropping the same sales post into 15 groups and disappearing isn't a strategy.

There IS a way to use groups intentionally to get your business in front of new people, build familiarity, and become the name people think of when they need what you sell.

And it doesn't require an ad budget.

I'm breaking down exactly how to do it next, so follow along. šŸ”„
