We just received our second DC Humanities grant for *Voices of Resilience* and our fifth grant overall for this film.
This work, telling the story of Anacostia, Capitol Hill, and H Street during one of the most difficult years this city has faced, matters deeply to me. And every grant is a reminder that it matters to others, too.

When you marry your cameraman! Thirty-eight years ago, Paul hired a White House photographer to shoot our wedding, but news broke, and he couldn't make it- of course! I don't recall who ended up shooting this pic, but it has always been one of my favorites. Paul Dougherty, I love you and am grateful for the life we built together and that we are still creating together after all these years❤️❤️❤️
