Last weekend, I had the opportunity chase super cars through the backroads of West Virginia… in a RAV4 😂 We made several stops, spent the night at the GreenBrier Resort, and managed to take thousands of photos of exotic cars at some very scenic locations.

I recommend everyone to check out the album. There is close to 600 edited photos in it, and may be some of my best work yet.

Shane W Day Photography and I collaborated on this album. This was an INCREDIBLE opportunity for me.

First full show I’ve ever shot, and it’s a lot of work😂 I was there from 8:30 to 5ish, and with no sunscreen. It was SUCH a good show! Kudos to Kaleb Arms for throwing such an event.

These are just the highlights, I think I wound up with almost 140 good ones😂

Cars AND planes? YES.

This is Christopher Helber. He grew up watching “Highwaymen”, and always loved the Barracuda from the movie. He recently flew half way across the globe to see the car and take some pictures. I was there that day doing a shoot with the car, and I knew I had to get some photos of him and the car together.

This is my favorite shoot so far, simply because of his story. I am so glad I was able to capture some photos of him and his dream car.

It’s so cool how something as simple as the love of cars can connect people, even half way across the world.

This has to be the slickest paint I’ve ever seen on a car. This thing was IMMACULATE, and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to shoot it. I love the R35 GTR, and I love seeing one modded to this extent.

Yin and Yang

These guys stuck around until after a show I was shooting to get some photos, and I’m glad they did. I like shooting shows, but I LOVE doing private shoots. I have a lot more “creative freedom” when I can move the car😂

First time ever shooting a movie car😂

There is a good story about this car I’ll share in another post, but here is what the owner wrote about the car:

“The World Famous "Highwaymen
Barracuda"”

Built by World renowned Cinema Vehicle Services of Hollywood California for the movie Highwaymen starring Jim Caviezel released February 13th, 2004.
The car is portrayed to be a Hemi Super Stock car but in reality, is in fact a Formula S car equipped with a healthy 340 Cl engine backed with a manual 4 speed transmission. The car was then featured in Season 6 Episode 9 of the hit TV series Malcolm in the Middle starring Frankie Muniz. "Malcolm's Car" aired January 30th, 2005. Later that year it was featured in the film Herbie Fully-Loaded starring Lindsey Lohan released June 19th, 2005, where the cars stunt double met its demise. The latest addition to this cars star studded resume is appearance on Season 2 Episode 15 of Criminal Minds aired February 7th, 2007. The car remains virtually untouched since its film career retaining all props and damages sustained in filming.”

Barboursville WV Cars & Coffee is always a good time. It’s were I would go to practice different angles and camera settings. If it hadnt been for these events, I wouldn’t be where I’m at with this “automotive photographer” thing I have going on. I’ve met a lot of great people, and made a lot of connections down here.

Also, all the editing practice from this event is paying off, wouldn’t you say?😂

Same truck, 2 years apart. It’s cool looking back and seeing how my editing style has changed over the years. Back in 2023, I had just started. I had no idea what I was doing.

I still don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m having a good time and people seem to like it😂🤔
