🍩 Craving the perfect homemade donuts? Look no further! Check out this easy recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cups milk
1 tsp dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
2 egg yolks
2 cups white flour
1 tbsp salt
2 sachets vanilla sugar
1 tsp lemon essence
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar
Chocolate spread or jam

👩‍🍳 Here's how to make them:

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar.
Step 2: Whisk until ingredients are dissolved.
Step 3: Cover the bowl with cling film and let the yeast activate for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the foil and mix.
Step 5: Add egg yolks and stir.
Step 6: Incorporate flour, salt, vanilla sugar, and lemon essence.
Step 7: Knead until you achieve a fluffy, elastic, slightly sticky dough.
Step 8: Cover the bowl again and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
Step 9: Sprinkle flour on a work surface and place the dough on it.
Step 10: Roll out the dough to about 1cm thickness.
Step 11: Use a glass with a 6-8 cm diameter to cut out donuts.
Step 12: Let the donuts rest for 5-10 minutes.
Step 13: Heat oil in a saucepan.
Step 14: Fry the donuts in the hot oil.
Step 15: Turn them on both sides and remove when golden brown.
Step 16: Drain excess oil on paper napkins.
Step 17: Dust donuts with powdered sugar.
Step 18: Serve with chocolate spread, fruit jam, or simply enjoy them as they are!
