COMING SOON:
More than 100 craft vendors plus live music, a children’s play area, food and more will be featured again at the annual West Islip Craft Fair to be held Sunday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year recognizes the 50th year since the first fair in 1976.
The event will be held on the grounds of the West Islip Public Library, Higbie Lane and Montauk Highway.
The live music schedule includes performances by the West Islip Symphony Orchestra from 10 to 11 a.m.’ the Rock Underground from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. That will follow with line dancing with Sherry Palencia.
Fair goers can sample a variety of foods including Italian, Polish and Greek specialties, crepes, Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs and hamburgers, roasted corn, funnel cakes and more.
