You Can Earn $200,000 for Letting a Robot Use Your Face and Voice
A Russian robotics firm is offering $200,000 to one person willing to give up the rights to their face and voice for use in developing humanoid robots.
The company, Promobot, specializes in creating lifelike robots that mimic human appearance and speech. Back in 2019, it introduced the “Android Robo-C” — a customizable robot designed to replicate the look of any person.
“Now anyone can order a robot with any appearance — for business or personal use,” said Aleksei Iuzhakov, Chairman of Promobot’s Board of Directors, when the model was first announced.
