Screenshot Your Cruise Account Before You Leave!

Here’s a cruise tip that doesn’t get discussed nearly enough:

Before you walk off the ship, open the cruise line app and screenshot your final onboard account balance.

Why? Once your cruise ends, access to the detailed account may become limited—and it’s much easier to question an unfamiliar charge while you’re still onboard.

Our recommended routine:

📱 Check your account every evening
🔍 Look for duplicate drinks, incorrect gratuities or purchases you don’t recognize
📸 Screenshot the final itemized statement before disembarkation
🧾 Keep it until the final charge clears your credit card

We’re not saying you should spend your vacation studying receipts. A quick 60-second check each night can keep a small mistake from becoming a frustrating post-cruise problem.

Be honest: Do you check your onboard account during the cruise—or just hope the final number looks right? 😂
