👻🎶 PARA-JAM IS ALMOST HERE!!! 🎶👻

I’m SO excited because we are less than one week away from Para-Jam 2026 in Gettysburg!

If you like ghosts, paranormal investigating, music, cool vendors, hearses and meeting lots of awesome people, this is going to be such a fun day!

And I wanted to make this post because there are going to be a lot of people there that I’ve gotten to meet and know through the paranormal community, and I think they deserve some love too. 💚

Sometimes not every page or group wants us sharing or being part of things, and that’s okay. We still want to cheer people on and recognize the people who work hard to make paranormal events happen.

There’s enough room in the paranormal community for everybody. 👻

👻 Last night was SO MUCH FUN!

Black Lantern Paranormal got to investigate the Haunted Trails Of Gettysburg, and it was such an awesome night! Mr. Terry and Mrs. Amanda were absolutely amazing hosts and made us feel right at home… even if some of the things in the woods definitely didn’t. 😂👻

We had a GREAT investigation and collected a bunch of evidence that we cannot wait to sit down and go through!

And before anybody asks… NO, I did NOT let Dad bring the creepy doll home. 🙄😂 he tried!

There comes a point where something needs to be said.

A community voting competition should be exactly that: a community voting competition.

People nominate who they want. People vote for who they want. And when the results come in, someone wins.

It really should be that simple.

What it should NOT become is adults publicly questioning another organization’s ethics, accusing them of misleading the public, commenting on other organizations’ pages to discredit them, or privately messaging people simply because they chose to support someone else.

That isn’t healthy competition.

That’s intimidation dressed up as “integrity.”

Black Lantern did not put itself on the ballot. Members of the public nominated us. The nomination was accepted, we became a finalist, and now we’re doing exactly what every other nominee has the right to do:

Campaign for votes.

We’ve never told anyone they shouldn’t vote for another company.

We’ve never privately messaged someone because they supported another nominee.

We’ve never suggested another organization was unethical simply because they were competing against us.

And we’re not going to start now.

But there is also a point where remaining silent while our organization and the people supporting it are being targeted stops being the professional thing to do.

So here’s our position:

Vote for Black Lantern.

Vote for another nominee.

Vote for whoever you genuinely believe deserves it.

But don’t harass, pressure, guilt, or privately confront people because their vote isn’t going where you want it to go.

And if you’re publicly associated with a business or organization, remember something very important:

How you conduct yourself reflects on more than just you.

We aren’t interested in a public mud fight.

We’re interested in doing what we’ve done from the beginning: building something we’re proud of, supporting this community, having some fun with an underdog campaign, and letting the PEOPLE decide.

So we’re going to keep campaigning.

We’re going to keep having fun.

And we’re going to keep asking for your vote.
