Months ago I went with Michael Brawner to some podunk town in Tennessee to pick up this '81 Exciter. It ran well at the time, but due to some circumstances it sat for a while and needed a refresh. Cool little bike, I'll post more about it tomorrow. For now, here's a cover photo for you to drool on.

For the AI haters: I didn't just open an AI program and say "make a cover." I designed this — sketched the layout on paper, handwrote a list of ideas for cover text, shot a bunch of reference photos to get the right one, then bossed the AI around through dozens of revisions until it matched what was already in my head. Proof's in my notebook if you want to see it.

COME RIDE WITH THE STONER KING!

📅 Saturday, October 24th
⏰ NOON — Central Time
📍 Beaver Trail Park — Glasgow, KY
🛣️ 65-ish miles around Barren River Lake

I AM NOT THE STONER KING.
But show up if ya wanna meet him. 😎

This is NOT strictly a small-bore event. Big bikes, little bikes, scooters, motorcycles — ALL BIKE SIZES ARE WELCOME. The only real requirement is that your machine can hang with the group. There will be portions of the ride on 55 MPH roads, so if your bike can't comfortably do 55-ish, this probably isn't the ride for you.

We're gonna be out for several hours, taking in some beautiful roads, scenery, and stops along the way. We'll be making a pizza & drinks stop for lunch, so bring a few bucks. That said, nobody is going hungry just because they're strapped for cash. We'll figure it out.

🗺️ I'll post a Google Map of the route before ride day so everybody knows what we're getting into.

⚠️ One more thing: It's highly suggested that you be mostly legal. 😂 This ain't gonna be a backwoods, disappear-from-the-world kind of ride. We'll be off the beaten path most of the time, but there are police around here and they do, in fact, exist.

Come ride. Bring your weird bike. Bring your buddies. Bring some cash for pizza. Bring a good attitude.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH GLASGOW KENTUCKY
65+ mile ride around Barren River Lake plan for several hours including a lunch stop.

Bikes capable of 55 60 mph only as there are some long stretches of 55mph road.

Highly suggest legal solid runners this isnt the back back woods of Kentucky we have police here lol. This is not strictly small bore, its ride what ya got.
