Tomorrow, three athletes from Glendale High School will compete on the road to state.

Elaina Montero will compete in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 200M dash, and triple jump. Freshman Iimani Bryant qualified in the 100 hurdles, while Roman Ayala Carlos will compete in the 1600M.

Good luck to all three athletes as they represent Glendale tomorrow.

Glendale High senior David Ortiz Perez was named The Arizona Republic’s High School Boys Athlete of the Week after a dominant stretch on the mound, the plate, and in the field.

2 wins. 11 strikeouts. 4 stolen bases. 0 errors.

More than the stats, his leadership and impact have helped power Glendale baseball this season.
