Ascension leadership stiffed the guy who helped design the Superdome.

Seriously.

Architect Henry Chauvin—one of the minds behind the iconic Superdome—was hired to redesign our aging West Ascension hospital. He did the work. Sent the invoice.
$790,000. Unpaid.
Now he’s suing, and thanks to poor leadership, taxpayers could be on the hook for $90,000 in interest.

This isn’t just a missed payment. It’s a complete failure of leadership, oversight, and basic responsibility.

While families need better healthcare, Ascension’s leadership can’t even manage to pay the people hired to help. No answers. No accountability. Just more lawsuits and embarrassment.

Enough is enough. Ascension deserves leaders who lead, not ones who hide.

Another Ascenion Parish Scandal. More Silence. Zero Accountability.

Two Ascension Parish employees were just fired for doing drainage work on private land—a project greenlit by a work order from inside the parish government itself.

One of the men fired? A longtime public works supervisor.
The man who filed the work order? His son.

The project? Left half-finished.
The administration? Refusing to speak.
The community? Still dealing with flooding and now more questions than answers.

Where’s the oversight? Where’s the leadership?

While families are begging for flood protection and infrastructure improvements, parish resources are being used on private land, then swept under the rug when things go wrong. Meanwhile, the Louisiana Board of Ethics is investigating—because the parish won’t even clarify if there was a servitude.

This is what happens when politics outweigh the people.

The current administration implemented a moratorium on development that has ground progress to a halt. This “pause” was supposed to fix our infrastructure & drainage, but no progress or resolutions have been made.

Businesses are leaving, local small businesses are dying & construction jobs are disappearing while housing prices are skyrocketing. This is not the leadership Ascension Parish deserves. We need smart growth & solutions, not excuses.
