🚂🐾 Lucy’s Healing Train stopped at Azalea Estates Assisted Living today!

I got to visit some of my favorite people, and they were over the moon to see me! 🥰 But between you and me…I think I was just as excited to see them. ❤️

I passed out lots of kisses, soaked up plenty of cuddles, and made sure everyone got a little Lucy love before I left. 🐶💕

I sure love my Azalea Estates family! Until next time, friends…Lucy’s Healing Train is rolling on! 🚂

🚂🐾 Choo choo! Lucy’s Healing Train pulled into Landmark South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
today! 💕🐶

I got to visit some of my favorite friends AND make a few new ones! 🥰 I passed out lots of kisses, soaked up plenty of belly rubs, and made sure everyone got a little dose of Lucy love. ❤️

I may have tiny legs, but I’ve got a BIG job—bringing smiles wherever my little train takes me! 🐾🚂

🇺🇸🐾 All aboard Lucy’s Healing Train! Next stop: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve! 🐾🇺🇸

Hi friends, Lucy here! ❤️🤍💙

Today my Healing Train made one of my very favorite stops — visiting the amazing Veterans at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve. 🇺🇸

I may only be a little dachshund, but I know I was in the presence of some pretty big heroes. These men and women served our country, sacrificed more than most of us will ever know, and helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every single day.

My job was easy: give kisses, collect belly rubs, sit in a few laps, and make as many people smile as possible. 🐾❤️ And trust me… I took my assignment very seriously!

There is something incredibly special about spending time with our Veterans. Every handshake, every story, every smile, and every quiet moment is a reminder that freedom isn’t free.

To all of the Veterans at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home — thank you for your service, your courage, and your sacrifice. Lucy’s Healing Train will always have a special stop for our Veterans. 🇺🇸

🚂💜 All aboard Lucy’s Healing Train! 💜🚂

Hi, friends! It’s me, Lucy! 🐾

Today my Healing Train made a very special stop at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation to visit some of my favorite friends! 🥰

I brought plenty of tail wags, puppy kisses, snuggles, and lots of love to share. I think I made a few people smile, but between you and me… they made my little heart just as happy. 💜

Every stop on my Healing Train reminds me that sometimes the best medicine has four little paws, a wagging tail, and time to sit beside someone who needs a friend.

Thank you to everyone at Legacy for always making me feel so loved and welcome. I can’t wait until my train rolls back into Plaquemine again! 🚂🐾

🚂🐾 All aboard! Lucy’s Healing Train stopped at Landmark of Plaquemine!

Hi friends, it’s Lucy! 🐶💜

My Healing Train made another special stop, and this time I got to visit my friends at Landmark of Plaquemine!

I spent my visit doing what I do best—giving kisses, getting lots of pets, sitting with new friends, and hopefully leaving behind a few extra smiles. I’m pretty sure I received just as much love as I gave. ❤️

I’ve learned that you don’t always need words to make someone’s day a little brighter. Sometimes you just need a warm lap, a gentle hand, and a little dachshund who is happy to sit beside you. 🐾

Thank you to everyone at Landmark of Plaquemine for always making me feel so welcome. I loved visiting with all of you!

I forgot to share pictures from the Parkinson’s State Conference at Pennington Biomedical Research Center this past week. And of course, Lucy was the center of attention. Also, she was invited to visit the residents at 2 more facilities. Please help share
