Piedmont Sound and Ear Bonez Sessions present Donna The Wolfman performing their song, “Rain Castles,” live at The Portico in High Shoals, GA, just south of Athens, GA.

“Rain Castles” was recorded and released on a 2022 EP we made with Robert Green at Blue Room Studios in Atlanta. It quickly became a favorite of both the band and our fans.

The song is a mad poet screaming into the light. A song about the eternal party, the feeling of living as death circles around….about definitely not going softly into that dark night.

“Rain Castles” is an acceptance of the inevitable end of all things and that fuels the passion for the joy of living…. as expressed through glorious debauchery. Just rain castles in a sandstorm.

North Georgia native Cody Marlowe performs on August 23rd at The Portico, High Shoals GA

Cody was born into a musical family in the small town of Clermont, GA. At a young age, Marlowe was taught piano by his great-aunt and his mother, guitar from his grandpa and uncle, and was influenced vocally by his grandma, aunt, mother, and sister. Cody’s songs explore the polarities of good and evil in an intriguing blend of lyrics featuring lost loves and hopeful musings.
