Cowgirl Golf getting highlighted everywhere! Love it!

Goodland (3-2-1Aโ›ณ๏ธ), now with three state girls golf team titles in its school history, all under Connie Livengood, after their 3-2-1A crown on Monday. The Cowgirls won their first in 2008, followed by titles in 2019, and 2025. Allison Cure led the way for Goodland with an individual state championship. Goodland shot a two day score of 685 as a team. Natalie Cure, Tori Jones and Sadie Sederstrom also finished in the top 20, finishing 14, 15 & 20th. Kerigan Rudolph, also on coaching staff, was part of the last state title in 2019 under Livengood as a player.

Allison Cure of Goodland captured the 3-2-1A State Golf Championship with a two-day total of 150 (73, 77) at Salina Municipal Golf Course, edging Danielle Yaghmour of Colgan by one stroke. The senior also helped lead the Cowgirls to the team state title, as Goodland posted a two-day score of 685, winning by 34 strokes.

The Cowgirls shoot a two-day total of 685 to dominate the state tournament. Alli Cure shot a two-day total of 150 to take the first girls golf individual state championship in Goodland history!!! Congratulations ladies!!!

Thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Sherman County Community Foundation, the City of Goodland has installed two brand-new, adjustable basketball goals at the courts behind West Elementary!

This project all started with Paul Medrano and the GoodlandBallersโ€”a group of veteran hoopsters who play there weekly and wanted to see the courts improved for everyone. With help from City Manager, the Parks Department, and a few Ballers with power tools, the new goals are officially up and ready for play!

Because when a good idea meets a great communityโ€ฆ the results are nothing but net. ๐Ÿ€โœจ
