🐾❤️ Meet Maple — the Goshen Fire Department’s newest (and furriest) team member!

This week, we had the joy of visiting the Goshen Fire Department to meet Maple, their new service and therapy dog.

Maple’s gentle presence is already making a big difference — bringing comfort, support, and smiles to our local firefighters. She’s not just a dog; she’s part of the team, helping care for the hearts of those who care for us every day. 🚒💛

Stories like this remind us what community really means — connection, compassion, and showing up for one another (sometimes with a wagging tail).

Absolutely blown away by the conversation I had on Friday with Reta Pregnancy Clinic & Family Resources!
I sat down with Brandie, CEO of this amazing Elkhart nonprofit, to hear about their mission to support women and families. From pregnancy services and parenting classes to mentoring and material assistance Reta empowers families every day! So much love, compassion, safety, knowledge and learning found here.

One of their most special programs going on now? A Christmas Stocking project, where money donated will go to mothers and children for a Walmart shopping spree to fully experience the give-back their children and themselves deserve — thanks to generous community donations. 🎁

Halloween is almost here, Goshen! 👻🎃

Get your costumes ready and join the fun downtown for Trick or Treat on Main Street! 🍬 Join us on Friday, Oct. 31, from Noon–5 PM on Downtown Main Street. Hosted by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, with participating businesses having the orange signs! 🧡

Then keep the fun going with neighborhoods trick-or-treating from 5–7:30 PM 🏠✨
